This book has been "on the money" for me. Often prepper books are overwhelming, either how they're laid out or the sheer amount of information in them. I've not read the entire book yet, but have read enough to know I like the layout, the writing style and content. It contains enough information to help you become solidly prepared but not so much as to overwhelm and discourage you. It's compartmentalized into doable pieces. So if you're asking yourself where to begin. Begin with this book. You'll have a solid foundation with more information than you'll probably want to know and it'll provide structure and a framework for you to delve deeper into individual topics as you see fit.
I have read so many preparedness books and have found this one, by far, the best in outlining a doable monthly get the job done in a year goal. Easy read, not overwhelming at all. In fact, I have never been more excited to get started (again) before. I am particularly impressed with the order of the chapters according to most important, in building a water supply, working down. I'm also impressed with the thoroughness, simplicity, and conciseness of her teaching. If you have struggled to get the job done, began but never followed through I bet following this book will help you finally be successful. I will follow-up when I have succeeded.
